Why Bare Naked Soap?
Well, simply put, I love it.
I met Kirsten online a few years ago and we became instant friends, both personally and with our business adventures. The feedback from selling Bare Naked Soap was so inspiring that I asked Kirsten to make me a signature range for my previous business. My favourite is still the Rose and Geranium with rose petals.
The new and the old...
I left my recipes with the new owner of the epsom salt business and got to work with Kirsten to produce something new that would work alongside my tree theme. She offered me Kawakawa, which was an instant YES! Kawakawa has become significant to me as it reminds me of a dear friend who gifted me a piece of Kawakawa to grow. Sadly, the cutting blew away in the wind, as it sat on my windowsill waiting to be planted. I now have 5 beautiful new Kawakawa ready to grow in the spring. New venture, new beginnings, new home, new growth. Exciting times.
Crystals in soap!
Next came QUARTZ and LIME soap. How could I resist that? It smells divine, as they always do. But, this one makes me feel special. I am literally rubbing quartz crystal onto my body and then sending it down to the septic tank to carry on doing it's magic. I love the idea of the crystal staying on the land. I smile when I shower with this beauty.
The best conditioner in the world...
I feel like a beer advert! But, in my opinion, it is true. I have never found a conditioner that I love as much as this. I love that there is no plastic to dispose of. I can burn the paper wrapper. And the conditioner actually works. I have tried previous package free conditioner bards and ended up with slicked back hair. Yuk! Not this time. I was able to travel to Africa with this conditioner. It doesn't get all slimy and wet. I used it and then I pop it back in the recycled humous container I took it away in. At home, I use a Block Dock to store it in the shower.
